BBQ With the Pros Class

We want every student to leave with the ability to do an excellent job of cooking the four major types of meat: brisket, pork butts, ribs, and chicken.

To accomplish we give everyone an illustrated manual describing our simplified BBQ cooking techniques, live demonstrations, and hands-on lab work.

It’s a busy 10-hour day but you will have a lot of fun interacting with us and stuffing yourself with BBQ.

Meet Your Instructors

Rick, Dave, and Pete are an award-winning Pro competition BBQ team founded in 2012 and we have won many contests because we came up with simplified, repeatable processes that produced great results. In 2014 it dawned on us that we could teach what we were doing and thus Southern Thunder BBQ Cooking School was born.
