Learn to throw a legendary BBQ party in one 10-hour day.

Even if you are not interested in cooking a whole hog, you will have a blast watching students do it, and maybe you will change your mind once you see our simplified method that takes only 6-8 hours from start to finish. Plus you can invite your friends to help us eat it at our end-of-day banquet.

Meet Your Instructors

Rick, Dave, and Pete are an award-winning Pro competition BBQ team founded in 2012 and we have won many contests because we came up with simplified, repeatable processes that produced great results. In 2014 it dawned on us that we could teach what we were doing and thus Southern Thunder BBQ Cooking School was born.
